JONES

Jonesy and Master China have been training together under the watchful eyes of each other since Spring of 2004. Honing their skills at drinking and mastering the art of electronics, they have been an unstoppable force since. After making a small pilgrimage to his homeland, Jones decided to stay for a time and is currently living in a small hamlet with his wife and daughter, just outside of Kyoto. There, they own three small water buffalo and two cows. Jones makes his life as a fisherman at the moment, but is planning on coming out of seclusion in the coming months by tackling his biggest project yet.......the legendary, Casio SK-1

Samples of his current works can be seen below.

Robusto Talks A Lot

B. Capps/J. Jones

A VTech talking phone toy chopped and rehoused into a cigar box.

Rewired the on/off buttons plus added three glitches and a "lapse glitch". 1/4 inch out with nice bright orange custom paintjob by Ben Capps. Thanks Ben!

This bad boy will talk nonsense all night long, baby! Just flip a few switches, sit back and relax with your old lady. She'll love it!

The GI

B. Capps/J. Jones

The name says it all. Your General Issue Speak and Spell. Three glitch switches and one loop. Pitch with distortion is also added for your pleasure. Too much fun. My cat loves this guy!

Capps S&M with Pitch Box

B. Capps/J. Jones

Ben Helped out a lot with this one. Cool loop/search/hold control plus two glitches. The blue box houses the pitch up/down controls. 1/4 inch jack added for ease of stage use. Star Wars "busted up spaceship" paint job by Ben Capps.

Space Battle

B. Capps/J. Jones

Voice Changer rehouse in some old video game.

In/out with switch that adds a mild to heave flange effect. Sounds good when used in combination with a drum machine.

The audio is a track where the original Crashola is run through the Space Battle effect and Jones and Master China duke it out ...

PlayTech

B. Capps/J. Jones

This was just one of those driving toys and has been modified with three glitch knobs with on/off.

It still works in its original way but man, can the kids have some fun now! All three can be used at the same time and the blinker acts as a tempo. Oh yeah, I rewired the gas pedal to control another cool sound. It's pressure sensitive to.

Hanig Po.
